What race will you play in GW 2?

So here we go what race you gonna start as your first one and why ;D
I'll play as asura for 50% not sure jet.
But why this race cos they can piss you off and they like to rule like me in real world and that's all because they are soooo smart ;D

I ll play Sylvari because they look so gorgeous, and are nature lovers. I always like to play ranger and yeah, Rangers are supposed to have something with nature so that looks like a perfect match

Other race will be Human.

Can't wait to play Norn! Long story short, Knaught Ghey got trapped as an ele and I just haven't had time to make another toon that was a warrior and still get all those titles. So I'm looking forward to being the guy who is supposed to run in and start beating the tar out of the other team's tank and wreaking havoc on their back lines.

Hmm, for me it'll be either sylvari or human, depends a bit on how the sylvari look in game. If they look nice in my opinion I'll play them, else human :3

I'll be playing sylvari. They are fascinating. Her name will start with Katya, same as all my characters in GW. And she will be a necro. Necros are cool .
I'll also make a human, charr and an asura for starters. But my main will be sylvari necro.

A half a year ago, I thought I would have no problems with choosing my race, but with more and more updates things got really complicated. As u guys know I really enjoy playing a monk and since there would be no monk in GW2 I was left in a bit of a tight spot. So at that moment I decided I'll have a human ranger and asura ele (well I'm a total asura in rl so that wasn't even a question ;D). But after Gamescom when I saw charr for the first time, things changed. All I knew was that I have to have a charr. The way they move and look (I love that tail), it was just 2 good 2 pass. And then I have read both GW books and from then on things were not that easy to decide anymore . So here it is how it stands now.
I'm going to create human guardian, it will be a descent replacement for my lost monk I think (hope). Its also the only char that will have surname form my GW characters.
Charr will be a rouge (thief is a lousy name for that class so I refuse to use it ). That choice is still not set in stone as we still have no idea what the last medium armor class will be. All I know is that I want my charr to be a gunslinger (dual revolvers are really awesome in the videos ) and so far rouge fits that description.
Asura will be most likely an ele, but that is still to be decided, depending on how mesmer will look and play (hope I'll find out during this year Gamescom for myself if we manage to get there).
And the final choice so far is a norn ranger which will also be my only female char as male norns look like crazy bulls on steroids.
I hope that they will stick to 4 char slots like they did in GW so i dont have to buy 2 many new slots right at beginning. But as it looks so far I guess I'll have to buy at least 1 more slot if I want to start together with Kat as she will start with a sylvari and so far I had no plans on creating 1 for myself. But who knows, unfortunately the release of GW2 looks still far away .

It is good to hear everyone's thoughts about GW2! I will play a Sylvari Ranger and Mesmer. I think that those are my two best play styles. But after spending 6 months playing Rift as a Cleric which was my strongest character in game you would think I would want to play as a Guardian!!! Hope to see you all in GW2!

I know I said I'd play a sylvari necro. But now I'm leaning towards a human necro. Because she can be a descendant of the necro that's my favourite character now. She'll have the same last name, too.
I'll create a sylvari, too but she won't be my main character. Maybe a guardian or a mesmer.

Sylvari Mesmer and Norn Warrior or Guardian for starters, after that I'll see. Knowing myself as an altoholic I'll prolly have played every race and profession to some extent within the month.

Well I keep changing my mind. So now I have reached the same decision as Kat, I'll create a descendant of my monk, human guardian as my primary and will most likely see the most game time with it. But on the other hand I will create a gun blazing charr and a caster asura for sure. I guess I'll see during gameplay which i like the best.
