Right Hey guys its ninja/will if you feel the need for names, im gonna be creating a "The Deep", a trip i used to do with a friend called ben. ill be posting builds later but what i will need for now is a list of days or dates most of you are free on so i can choose when most of you are on. proffession wise i will be needing
* 2 Warrior/Assassin Shadow Meld Warriors (Shadow Meld elite needed or recall or aura of displacement elite) * 1 Assassin/Mesmer Perma Assassin * 2 Mesmer/Monk RoJ Criers * 1 Mesmer/Necromancer Insid Cryer(signet of illusions elite) * 1 Mesmer/Elementalist DF Cryer(signet of illusions elite) * 1 Paragon/Ritualist Porogon (can be replaced with people who cant or havent access to needed skills or pproffesion but wish to join) * 1 Monk/Mesmer Healer's Boon Monk * 1 Monk/Mesmer Unyielding Aura Monk * 1 Necromancer/Mesmer SS Necromancer * 1 Necromancer/Dervish BiP Necromancer
but please it will be a NM run at first so please join it may fail but if we live the first 5 aspects it will get simpler.
i need to add one thing *Cold* damage wepons are needed and "you move like a dwarf" is essential but im sure others will have it to take if you dont.

Ok, I have discussed this event with ppl interested in joining. And there was a common problem with almost all and that's preset builds and professions . Main thing is that not every1 could join for the event as not every1 has the required professions. So I did a more researching and consulting with ppl that have done the Deep on regular basis. Most of them told me at the beginning that it will be more or less impossible 2 do the area without a preset party. But after a discussion it was agreed that only certain things are really necessary and the rest are just recommended. U only really need to have 3 tanks to hold off the mobs and 3 monks to heal. The rest of the party could be whatever u can scramble. It's sure more easy to do it with certain professions, but who wants easy when u can get hard ;D. So if u are willing to put things in the hands of fate , I'm sure we could manage to get a full team at the time of your choosing. It would be great if u can make it a Sunday as that's usually the prime time for our players to be online, though yesterday was really busy 2 hmmm... Tim

UK is currently GMT + 1, right? So that would be Saturday 24 April 9pm UK time or 10pm CEST (Slovenia, the Netherlands, Sweden,...)?

Little reaction to Tim.
3 tanks + 3 monks is idd needed...but you need the BiP and SS necro aswell.
BiP > N/P > bip and shouts and Verata's Gaze > to handle the Aspect of Shadows and the Aspect of Depletion Template code = OAlkQwFiBeq0L2W4dwVAXgGGGm8G
SS > N/Me > SS + Shivers of Dread or Spinal Shivers to interupt Kanaxai Template code = OAVEMFR2eMtWuEkHsHIX2JUB8CB
Other note's Tanks must have "You Move Like a Dwarf!" or Shove + Recall or Shadow Meld + all an Icy weapon. Healers a good tactic is to bring Arcane Mimicry to copie skills like Shadow Meld or Elite's from the other healers.

The thing is that getting necros wont be a problem, well except getting 2 many necros maybe , but 4 mesmers, that will certainly be a problem as ppl don't like to play mesmers in general for some strange reason. Other than that i do know that certain skills are necessary but maybe not all that u mention above, some just make things easier, but then again who wants easy ;D. Anyway well give it a go and see how it goes. I think ill be able to join so u can scratch 1 monk . So will Kat on her necro, but she'll not be happy with set build (she never is but she does it on the end anyway ;D).

I would love to join this (if I'm online and such) but 1st a few of questions. How do we get there? Does everyone buy a passage to the Deep scroll or is just one needed for the whole party? If I can go, is a primary elementalist of use for this? Is there a specific build I should bring as an ele? I see the ones for other professions but is there 1 for an ele? Should I go ele/mesmer and bring a mesmer's build to best of my ability? Or some other combination?

U need to unlock the Deep first. U can do that by going to Cavalon and use a scroll there. After that some1 can taxi u (but just that character) to the Deep when needed. Ele will be fine there as AoE spells are recommended. So u can use standard fire nuke build, with some twiks if needed.

Thanks Tim. I did as you suggested last night with a scroll I got from trading in faction points. While I was there I decided to snoop around a bit in the mission and see what all the talk was about. I learned some important lessons. 1st is don't use your summoning stone in the starting area as the creature did not follow through the transporter. Speaking of not being followed, only 2 of my heroes came along with me so I'm assuming that there is a 3 person limit (yep, just saw it in the wiki article) to the transporters which kind of sucks imo. I was still able to take down the creatures which was a little surprising as I did this with a blind/air build and 2/3 of a discord team. (Please remember I was just snooping about, not actually trying to beat it. I know better.) Well all of them until the I got to the Kanaxia Aspect of Soothing. It took him like 2 maybe 3 hits to kill each of us. It wasn't pretty and the need for tank walls and protective spirit was painfully obvious at this point. I also installed TeamSpeak so if the group (or some in it) decide to use that during this I should be able to get on also. This seems like it should be a lot of fun and that's just in NM.
