Hey guys.. Vicious Lucius Here (Martin)
I thought about why i would like to speak with others during the game in critical moment or during a mission. When whe speak to each other using STEAM or some proggie like this whe can be more efficient during the game and make more fun with each other.
If u like to install STEAM you can ad me to your friends list and maybe chat during the game. Think of the possibility's it has by discussing build of any kind or just 4 one mission.. My account name in STEAM is vicious_lucius

Hey Martin. Nice choice of answers. I think you've got them all One more thing. Maybe you could give us some info about STEAM communication. Is it free, what requirements does it have, etc. I, personally, don't have a STEAM account. So please, help us decide ;D Katja.

Hey guildies ;D ;D My son told me about another possibility. He say ed you can use XFIRE also. So maybe something 2 take notice of. Its the same kind of proggie. You can login th rue XFIRE or STEAM into your game. Check out the websites ..and investigate it.. store.steampowered.com/about/ <<<<<<STEAM www.xfire.com/ <<<<<<XFIRE Whe can talk to each other during a battle without typing ..and that's the biggest advantage if u ask me. So don't hesitate and vote ..give others your opinion.. See u in the game guys ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I voted NO, because I actually like writing in the middle of running around in GW , and it keeps me in touch with written English . But I am willing to create an account on Steam or wherever if more people are interested. Katja.

In the past i paid for our own TeamSpeak server seats. 25 if I remember right. But it was very rarely used so i stopped it. I won't use it because I usually play on my laptop sat next to my wife who watches the TV. Me speaking random comments like, ''Kill the Monk!!!'', ''Take the high ground and fight from there!!!'', ''I see you didn't bring any Rez Spells again!!!'', would not be considered favourably on her part But I hope you all have many hours enjoyment from chatting together... I know from my early days of playing, that TeamSpeak worked well alongside GW on the same PC, and brings a level of closeness and community to the game. I hope STEAM does the same for you.

Hey Martin, the ugly voice was my vote. That was just a joke everyone in RL calls me Pavarotti (voice related, not size related). But i have the same problem as Mike, but without the wife next to me, but i don't like having a headset and scream around. It would give away i'm a bad player also, so i must deline the invitation. I admire your initiative though. All the best , Hans

OK from the newb - PVP without ventrilo/teamspeak/steam etc would put you at a major disadvantage against a team with. Although the major advantage is with targetting which I believe GW has a way around built in. Voice communication with people getting stressed, shouting, swearing, being generally obnoxious - no fun. That is from prev. SB experience. We used ventrillo, at times it was fantastic, we worked well as a team and it was very satisfying. Other times it was just fun and laid back. Occassional if the wrong people got on it was a nightmare. PVE I would have thought if you are used to playing with each other and know your objectives before you go, do you have an issue? Up to now I have generally just been trying to keep up so can't really comment. And I have similar wife issues so it is not so good for me usually

Hi Moonchild,
Sorry I didn't reply in time and now it's locked. But I was tempted to reply, sorry I have an ugly voice because I thought it was a funny statement ;D
I wouldn't be able to use steam or other team speak all the time either. The room we have computers in is next to my stepson's bedroom, so I couldn't use it if he's sleeping (too thin wooden wall). we usually play with no sound at all and even the sound of the keyboard can be disturbing if he's trying to fall asleep.
I've also heard today that 'Steam is fiddly with GW'. Can't comment on that since I haven't used it.
And it's probably more important in pvp than in pve I agree with moonchild. I think we have to become better at communicating in team chat, and maybe go a bit slower sometimes...

Ok guys ...;-)
The votes have bin counted and i think (personally) that it is just too bad whe are not really open and in to it as it seams.. Its just a way to get to know your team mates better and get your goals faster completed because team mates know things about maps someone else do not know... Really ...you can tell me something in 1 minute while typing it in 5.. So everyone has its own reason to use or not use it.. I like it that you all stated your opinion and thank u all 4 that..
If someone likes 2 use it they can always contact me so whe can use it together ;-)
Cool anyway ur all so involved with the subject..
See u in the game guys ...

Hey everybody,
I have another option for you. Our allies from AVE are using Teamspeak and they have invited us to use their server. They have room for 100 people, so there's enough room for [TLS], too. They set up a private room for us. So if anyone's interested, let me know and I'll give you the password.
Katja.

Excellent news, and a generous offer. TeamSpeak is a good application for this kind of comms... If this is new to you, have no worries... Try not to be self-conscious, it can be a little embarrassing to talk in a group to start with, but you will soon overcome this and be speaking confidently to Guildies and Allies alike Happy Chatting
