running 2 GW clients on the same PC

This might be of interest to those who have more than 1 account, and want to transfer stuff between accounts.

with one comment: when I tried to follow the instructions, at step 6 (with one GW client active) I get an I/O error 32 if I run the GWx2_4.1 program. But if I close the GW client after having put it in window mode (not full screen), and then run GWx2_4.1, it works perfectly.

I was browsing on GW guru website the other day and I found some new (for me at least) information on running multiple GW clients on the same PC. There seems to be some new programs around.

I've downloaded and tried Guild Wars Multi-Launch, and I think it's better than GWx2 that I was using before.
With GWx2, I had to manually copy the GW.dat file in the second directory after each update. With Guild Wars Multi-Launch, it's no longer required, so much better :-)

Heh, never knew this even existed. Always used a virtual machine for stuff like that.
