This is a screen shot of me in Frost gorge sound, all the way on the bottom of the Iron horse mines (in the sinkhole). But the game showed me a mithril node, still lower, beneath me.

Does anybody have any idea how to get even lower at that point on the map? It could be just a bug..

No idea, Deepen, I don't think I've been in that area yet. I've seen a similar problem, maybe in Timberline Fells, can't remember exactly, with a mushroom node that I couldn't see. I tried from different angles, just never found out where it was.
