Does anyone need this Quest? If you do......would you like to set a day and time to meet and do this quest together? I can set it to U.S central time and join. I would like to do this quest for my Ranger. So if anyone is interested just let me know. I will check back often. Also......if anyone has a good Ranger build let me know. Victor

wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Mallyx_the_Unyielding_(quest)Do you need all parts of it or just the last one? I've completed NF so I should be able to help on this and would love to. Though if all four parts are needed maybe it could be a weekend event? It looks like it could take awhile but idk since I've never done it. I'm US eastern time but most of the good players are scattered over Europe so syncing the times could be a challenge. Maybe this could be next Saturday's request night event? Which for me is 2 in the afternoon. Or maybe even earlier if this something that takes awhile.

Sure im in. Havent doe it and its suppose to be really hard to do alone. Not just Mallyx but also the quest to get to him. Ma and Katja tried it once a long tome ago and we made pass the fortress but failed in Stygian Veil coz we got ambushed in the second part of the quest . Due to the long time it took to get there we didnt try it again. So again yes im in and so is Kat. Ill let her arrange the time with u. Cant wait to get a Tormented weapon ;D. Tim

Yes, I`m in too And as for when... I think weekends are best of course, but maybe in the afternoon for us Europeans. An event like this takes several hours and it`s a bit too hard to stay focused till 4 am for example. And would it be a problem for you Americans to do this in the morning? I`m suggesting this Sunday afternoon, 25 October at 3 pm CET (GMT + 1). Saturday is not good for me, because I`ll be away all day. Please everybody who would like to join, comment on this. And if someone can`t make it then, we can set another date and hour. Katja.

Victor I believe that would be 9am for you and 10am for myself. If I'm on I fully plan to go along. As per Victor, any suggestions on a build will be greatly appreciated. Should we ask around in the Alliance if any want to come along too?

I believe Anders and I have the quest too, but we will not be able to join neither this weekend, nor the weekend after, because of RL. But go ahead if you have enough people, don't wait for us. Victor, I think Katja meant 3pm Central European Time, not US, which would be in the morning for you, as James said. Good luck with it Aline

Yes I figured out the time after I thought about it for a minute I have to teach a Yoga class at 1:15 so hopefully I will have enough time! Maybe we should post tips and strategies. Victor

We started a few hours later than we intended to, that`s why we were only able to complete one of the areas - City of Torc'qua. All the quests in Domain of Anguish are hard, but in my opinion that one is one of the easier ones. We were careful, pulled enemies one group at a time and even though it was a bit dangerous at times, we managed to stay alive. If you get wiped during the Mallyx quests at any time, that means you failed and are returned to the outpost, so it`s good to be extra careful. Anyway, we have more to do before getting to Mallyx and we were thinking about going in again this Sunday, 1 November. Same time maybe? 3pm CET, that is 8am for Victor and 9am for James. Is that OK? Check out this link, there is not enough info but Tim and I have completed 3 of the areas before and Hans has 2 so we know a bit and we can take time and discuss strategy before going in. guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Domain_of_AnguishAnyone can join us because you can do them in any order you like, you just have to complete all the quests before you can go after Mallyx. Katja.

We were there and it went as smoothly as last week or even more ;D We managed to start on schedule this time, unfortunately for Tiaan who missed it. There were five of us: Victor, Hans, Martin, Tim and myself. We did two areas this time, Stigian Veil and Ravenheart Gloom which leaves us one more area before we go after Mallyx. That`s The Foundry of Failed Creations: guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/The_Foundry_of_Failed_CreationsAnd then we can finally defeat Mallyx So, how does next Sunday (8 November 09) sound? Same time, same place. 3pm (GMT+1), that`s 8am for Victor, 9pm for James and 2pm UK time. Hope to see you there. Katja.

The time sounds good to me! I will be there! Things went very "smoothly" as Katya mentioned. As for myself.......I did get a little distracted once and managed to get myself killed but carried on after that. Hopefully this time I will be in top form. As for everyone else, they all played MAGNIFICENTLY! Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday. Victor

I seriously doubt I will be there as yet again I'm supposed to be out of town for the weekend but the times may have changed as our daylights savings deal ended this past weekend.

We managed to complete the last area (Foundry) before Mallyx, but it didn't go quite as smoothly. We kept getting almost wiped, so as the designated rezzer ;D I had to be ready for running away at any time. And I had to, quite a few times. On one occasion Hans had to save the day by using a res scroll because I failed to escape in time. Thanks, Hans Hans had to leave at one point and Sven jumped in. Thank you Sven, you represented your father well. Victor had serious connection problems and at times we were afraid we might lose him. But luckily, it got better at the end. Anyway, it's time for Mallyx this week. Same place, same time (Sunday, 3pm CET - 8am for Victor). See you there, guys. Katja.

I am more than happy that we did the Mallyx Quest this weekend. Even though we were unable to complete the mission I feel that it went well. It was a great learning expereience for another day. I had an interupt for Mallyx, maybe no the best, but no really good skills to take down spirits. Maybe another day of everyones choosing and we can meet up again to defeat Mallyx. Maybe a few more players will be able to come next time too. So all in all,I had a great time! Can't wait to hear what everyone else has to say.
